Taylor Lais

Born and raised in eastern South Dakota, Taylor started climbing nearby in Palisades State Park, quickly migrating west to the Black Hills where he knew he’d found his calling. 

 

After many seasons of guiding in the high-plains locales of Devil’s Tower, Mt. Rushmore, and The Needles - still among his favorite places to climb - Taylor began spending summers scaling tall peaks in the Tetons, balanced with winters chasing ice and cold powder around Bozeman. 

 

Whether he’s climbing splitters in the desert, skiing cold smoke in the mountains, or dancing up frozen waterfalls, you’ll always find Taylor with a contagious smile on his face, happy to share an adventure with you.
