Course Description

All-Women’s Granite Peak Expedition 5 Days | Montana’s Highest Mountain & Most Technical Highpoint If you’re looking for an inspiring team and a challenging, well-supported ascent of Montana’s highest mountain, our All-Women’s Granite Peak Expedition is for you. Designed for women who value the camaraderie, confidence, and strength of an all-women environment, this trip is ideal for Highpointers and climbers ready to push themselves in a supportive alpine setting. The expedition begins with a Rock Skills Course on Day 0 (approximately 2 hours), covering essential rock movement, rope systems, and safety skills. From there, we’ll attempt the route over four days: two days of approach, one summit day, and one day for descent. A fifth day is built in as a weather contingency, allowing flexibility for safe summit conditions. This climb is led by an all-female guide team with a maximum 2:1 guest-to-guide ratio, ensuring personalized instruction, strong mentorship, and thoughtful decision-making in technical alpine terrain. Participants should be prepared for: - 6,000+ feet of elevation gain - Technical alpine climbing - Long, demanding days - Carrying 40–50 lbs of personal and group gear All food and cooking equipment is included. Tent and sleeping bag rentals are available upon request. Learn more about our Granite Peak per-requisites, itinerary, route and more here: https://www.beartoothguides.com/granite-peak Optional porter services are available for $1,500 per 25 lbs.
