Activity Details
The Beartooth mountains, our backyard, have some amazing backcountry multi pitch climbs. High in the mountains between 8,000' and 10,000' we will encounter alpine lakes, some summer snow and potentially mountain goats. A typical trip like this starts the day before or the morning of the trip, at the office with a gear check. We will caravan to the trailhead (you need your own vehicle) and approach camp. On day 2 we climb one of the objectives that the range has to offer with difficulties ranging between 5.6 and 5.11- with up to 10 pitches. Depending on the objective the approaches might take longer. With the Red Lodge Outfitter infrastructure, it is possible to hire a horse or llama for gear transportation, early request needed.
