Course Description

Yoga in the Backcountry? Join yoga teacher and backcountry guide; Elise Marquette (Essence in Motion Yoga) on a mindful journey through the wilderness of Montana, the Beartooth Mountains. This trip will include three days of hiking, two nights of camping, morning and evening yoga practices, lymphatic drainage self massage, journaling prompts and mindful conversation and connections. Immerse yourself in an all-inclusive “treat yourself” backcountry retreat. Give yourself the opportunity for a weekend, away from the demands of everyday life, and experience the backcountry in slow pace. The Beartooths host Montana's premier backpacking routes, both on and off trail. Expect wild alpine scenery from glacial valleys to high plateaus. Known for it's pristine lakes, beautiful waterfalls, and towering granite walls, you can expect a memorable hiking trip in the Beartooth Wilderness. Itinenary: Day 1, Lake Fork THD - Lost Lake, 6 miles, 1500 ft of elevation gain Day 2, Keyser Brown Lake, 4 miles, 600 ft roundtrip Day 3, Lost Lake - Lake Fork TDH, 6 miles This trip is beginner-friendly friendly and you don't have to been backpacking or done yoga before. This trip is all-inclusive (food, tents, guides, permits) and for an additional $200/trip you can rent a backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad and hiking poles with Kit Lender (external)! Minimum participant number is 3, if the minimum number is not reached, participants have the option to cancel the trip or pay a surcharge.

Cancellation Policy

The 2.9% credit card processing fee is not refundable. In the event of a cancellation 31 days or more before your upcoming trip, Beartooth Mountain Guides refunds your entire deposit, apart from processing fees. 30-14 days in advance of your upcoming trip, Beartooth Mountain Guides refunds 50% of trip cost. Within 14 days, no refunds are accepted. Remaining costs are due one month prior to trip start date. Travel insurance, such as Travel Guard or World Nomads, is highly recommended to protect the cost of your trip in the event of a last minute cancellation.
